When I visited Europe last year and anyone asked me if I was American- I told them I was Canadian...pretty sorry, eh? We are just as embarrassed as you are of your ex-presidente. But I am even more ashamed of the fact that ours was reelected. That's a hard one to explain....

Is this one reason that makes the USA so special, everyone can have their opinion and freely express it. Although I do not fully support the president, in his defense he did not truly start both wars. It was hes reasoning that after 9/11 we were under direct attack. With those attacks on that day, we had the right to defend ourselves. Did the president make a mistake with the current war in Iraq, that for each individual person to decide. If he did than that person needs to act accordingly in the upcoming election. The people in the military joined knowing there would be a possibility of getting put in harms way, the National Guard, not as much as the Army, but that's another topic. In my opinion the president should have focused on bring democracy to everyone here in this country before we fight any wars to bring someone else freedom and democracy. Only last year a school, which tried to desegregate its prom was forced to re-segregate it, due to the volume of outrage by the parents. That was 2005, not 1965. He needed to focus here at home not overseas. Ask any one and I am sure they have some politician that they are embarrassed by, but that is politics people change, views change, that's why we have elections, and not monarchies.

Hola! Como esta?

To answer your question, I can't wait for Bush to get out of office. He is an idiota, the wars he has caused is to persue his own selfish need to become more rich. He wants to be like daddy. Not all Americans agree though. ***Some people really like him. I don't. This country was better off when Clinton was in office. I know that some peole might have something to say about that, but at least when Clinton was in office, we didn't lose so many troops because when we did have a war. I believe it was called "Operation: Desert Fox" Clinton knew when to pull out of the war.***
America is a country with great potential. We have a lot of freedoms that most people take for granted. Maybe that's why Americans come off as being arrogant. We're used to the freeedoms that we have, and assume that everyone else lives the same way. America was an even better country before Bush was in office. It'll will be so once again, when bush is out of office.

Thanks for asking!

Well, depends on who you ask. A lot of people, like myself, are angry and disappointed in our President for his and his personnel's choice of action, the war in Iraq being the biggest example. Often, people who criticize the President in this fashion are often labeled "liberals", who are generally on the "left" side of politics. While this is not always accurate, it's often a characterization.

Other people - sometimes characterized as "conservatives", on the "right" side of politics - are in favor of President Bush's actions and support his and his personnel's decision making. Everyone has their own reasons and their own decisions, and no one in this matter is necessarily right or wrong, as it all comes down to personal belief and personal morality.

As for me, I fall into the first category. Left-side, Democrat, liberal if you will. I don't support the President or his administration's decisions and I never will. Never voted for him, didn't want him in the first time around. I personally feel that he's done nothing but make us bigger enemies in the eyes of the international community and that it may prove to be a bigger problem in the overall security of our nation than we let on.

But, that's just me. :)

Yea yet in simple terms because of the fact the U. S. beat them final year does not assure yet another win this year. If the U. S. grew to become into that large then how come we are not assembly Spain interior the excellent? We could no longer even beat a mediocre Ghana group.

I personally believe that Europe including is in real trouble. Europe is on the brink of war inside their own countries with Radical Islam not Islam but Radical Islam. Political correctness is why Europe views us as a awful country because we would rather fight the war some where else instead of fighting it here in the US. So to answer your question I feel like you need to reevaluate everything you just said look at the whole Geopolitical Scheme and tell me what is really going on. It's not just the US making these decisions there are lots of other nations that are fighting wars them self's or with us.

A country is a country and a president is a president. Don't mix them.
Dubya is the master and Aznar the lapdog.

Un país es un país y un presidente es un presidente. No mezcles. Dubya es el amo y el "Azno" es el perro.

Presidents don't wage wars alone. The primary force behind any conflict is money, of course. Too many people making tons of money for it to be by any one individual.

Everybody else is too busy shopping to really notice or rather turn a blind eye because they really don't care and of course couldn't do anything about it if they tried.

It's time for The Boston Tea Party (part II).

I do realize that many in Europe and elsewhere are very critical of Bush's decision to go to war in Iraq. Many Americans, however, believe that the war was justified and the least undesirable of several bad alternatives. But many other Americans are unhappy with Bush also.
