I am not fond of chickens unless they are in McNuggets. They creep me out in the same manner that clowns do. All that herky-jerky movement like some of their body parts are not fully attached. And, YES a mad chicken chased me once when I got out of our 1950 Ford convertible to urge it out of the road where it had stood firm ground refusing to move so we could pass. My family, who was in the car, still get hysterical about old Mom running back to get in the car and away from the little ole chicken. UGH!

No used to raise them as a kid ...had one that was a pet rooster that would peck my legs and chase me up a tree...until there was a steel pipe at the tree one day and I turned and threw it at him...landed on it's neck and killed it.
He was the yummiest pet I ever had
