No, but then again the only chickens I'm around are oven or skillet ready!

Of course not, what scares you about chickens? Are you talking about died ones you eat, or alive ones? Its as simple as this, if you are scared of died one due to the way the taste or the fact the you may get some kind of stomach issue if you eat them just don't stick with beef!!!
Now if you are scared of them when they are alive then stay away from them. It shouldn't be the difficult unless you live on a chicken farm, then your out of luck!!! LOL
