My car has a great stereo system but when I put my ipod in, it doesn't sound nearly as good as it does when I have a cd in...is there anything I can do?

Mine does the same thing! I have tried to adjust all of the settings a zillion times. I have been told there isn't a way.

get a cd deck that has an aux 1/8" input and hook it up that way, Using a FM transmitter sucks. Also try setting the I-Pod EQ to different settings, try using the flat eq, because your stereo is going to EQ it anyways, and doubling up will reduce the quality in most cases.
