presuming the engine doesnt even turn over ! ( this must be communicated first ) even as attempting to commence pay interest for a distinct click , for a starter motor to artwork it must be engaged by skill of a starter solenoid , no click no solenoid , they could some situations stick and require in basic terms a tap ( say with a mild hammer ) to launch it or want replacing if youre unlucky , in case you are able to % out the starter motor it self the solenoid will be a small cylinder formed merchandise connected to the part of it , in all likelihood 2 inch round 3inch lengthy , tap this , it really is presuming you've capacity to mild all sprint lights ( head lights/ heater and so on even ? ) as typical and its not the battery

You cannot jump start a fuel injected car. If the starter motor is faulty it will not connect to the fly wheel. Get it changed or change it yourself.

Check your fuses/relays. I'm having trouble with mine, but everytime I go to a mechanic/electrician and tell them I'm having trouble with my Rover 45, I end up leaving because I can't stop them laughing.
Good luck.
