I'm going shoping for woman's clothes. I'm going to wear pantyhose under my jeans so when I try on heels the store clecks can see. What kind of responses should I expect from the clecks and for other shoppers.

they have probably been there and done that and it probably won't be that big of a shock. Cross dressing is a very popular fetish. If you are concerned about what others will say, try looking on line for a cross dresser friendly store in your area, also many adult stores are very used to cross dressers.

They probably won't say anything, but be prepared for strange looks, snickering behind your back, whispers to each other, pointing, or laughing out loud. Those are apparently the kind of responses that you're after, anyway. Right? Most transvestites are the closet kind, and only dress in drag in the privacy of their own homes. They don't try to inflict their obsession on others. So if you flaunt it in public, you'll have to endure the consequences. At the very least, they'll think you're either gay, which is a false assumption, or that you're a weirdo. Good luck!

I find it funny that you would want to wear pantyhose. Most women I know hate the things~

If you're going shopping this week, I would imagine they would think it's for Halloween.

Otherwise, you may get some looks, but if you're comfortable enough to dress in drag, you shouldn't be bothered by a salesperson's reaction.

Why would you get any response other than... are you sure thats the size you want and do you want more? If they want to make a sale, they could care less who buys it.

Its not that uncommon to wear panty hose under pants. Maybe I don't really understand your question.

Sorry so long, I included a personal experence with a man shopping where I work.

They'll probley think its for holloween. If they notice. They probley won't notice.

I notice alot of things though. Where I work theres a pantyhose section. I have seen a few guys looking though. They usually make up something when buying them about their wife needing a new pair.

Once though I did see a guy looking, & I was in that section. I'm always very friendly & helpful to my costmers no matter where I'm at. (which is rare at the store I work at) Well anyways, I asked if he needed help. He said yes. He needs to know what size to buy for his wife. I explained different size charts & whatnot. I asked him to describe his wifes size. we we're makeing small talk & he let it slip that he likes a certian color more while I was explain more about the size charts. I was feeling bold & said, your wife is just about the same size as you. Yep was his answer with a bit of nerverusness. We chated a bit more while I explained more about the hose, like what was in that season. I was getting the feeling they were for him. After more small talk, I asked. At first he denyed it, then after more chating, he admited they are for him, & asked how I feel about that. He was getting a bit defensive, but I told him the truth. I told him I have absolutly no problem with it. He was a bit shocked and asked me if that how I really felt. I told him yep. He asked why. I told him because I'm used to that sort of thing. He wanted to know how could I be used to it. I said, Because I have a few friends that are Drag Queens. He didn't belive me until I explained that I'm bi, & go to the gay clubs alot.Thats how I know the drag queens. We talked more. He asked how I got interested going to the clubs. I replied that alot of my friends are bi or gay, & they got me into it. We chated more, then one of the other employees called my name. He told me thanks for being so kind,& that he hopes that I'm working next time he goes shoping, so we can chat more. I agreed. He grabbed the hose he picked out & left. I went to see what the other employee wanted. The other employee didn't want nothing. She just said that she wanted to get me away from the "freak" that was looking at hose. I told her that the person was a customer, not a "freak". She's like he must be a gay then, in a real snotty voice.Said thats just as bad. I was getting pissed now. I told her so what if he is gay, thats his own buisness, & how would anyone know anyway. She replyed, if I gotta see it then its my buisness, & I don't like it, he was shopping for pantyhose, he has to be gay!!! I was real mad at this point. I told her, If you shopped for a tie, would that make you gay??? & no it isn't your buisness, it's not like hes boinking some guy in the middle of the asle. As long as hes not doing that, his sexuality has nothing to do with anything. So mind your own buisness & stop being such a judgemental stuck up b*tch!!! She was mad at me now, but also very flustered with how to respond. She said, I'm a women, if I shop for a tie, it dosn't make me gay! I told her, that her being a women had nothing to do with it, she's still shopping for an item that only men usally wear.So why should it be different when it was the opposite??? She didn't have a response to that one!!! I went on to tell her that karma has a habit of biteing people in the a s s. so she shouldn't be so judgmental. That alot more people then she realises arn't straight. She wouldn't belive it, so I went on to tell her, that I for one am not, & I also mentioned the names of some people we knew who wern't. I looked at the clock, then her, she was still flustered & didn't have a response yet. I told her that she needs to stop worrying so much about peoples sexuality, that its none of her buisness unless she's envolved in the bedroom. I then clocked out cause my shift was over, She was trying to b*tch at me more, & I told her to stop worrying about me, that its none of her buisnees, that maybe she should worry about fixing her face so she can actually get a man & that the coustomer I was talking to earlyer, if he isn't straigt, probley can get way more men then her, weither they were gay or not. I then stomped off, glad that my shift was finally over, that I could go out & have some fun & put it all behind me. As I was walking to the door, I noticed the coustmer that I helped pick out the hose. He said that he went back to thank me again for all my help, & heard me & the employee arguing. He said he was just gonna leave, but he ended up hearing more of our agument, & figured he would wait for me to thank me for sticking up for him. so thanks. I told him that he's welcome, & I always stick up for issues I feel strongly about. He asked if I wanted to him to save me a seat at a special event at a local club that night & I told him yes & thanks.

Anyways, the point of this is that you may run into the nice people who will be helpful, or you may run into the people who are judgemental. Or you may run into people who don't notice. So you can get varied reactions depending on who you run into. Just enjoy yourself & be comfortable with yourself!!!

maybe a laugh or a giggle. Most people would just pretend not to notice.

I don't think that you should care what responses that you get. If you are comfortable with yourself.
