ever since i dont take her out as often she like jump to side to side

We have a rat. Ours does this too. I asked the vet why or if anything was wrong with her. Nothing wrong. Just playing. And if she seems to do it more when your in the room with her, then she is trying to get your attention. She just wants to play. Make sure that you have enough in her cage to keep her busy.

Whenever I put my rat back in his cage he went out of his way to get attention. He would slam is water bottle up and down and chew on the bars. He would jump around a lot too. He hated being away from us and being caged up. I couldn't blame him.
He would also jump around when he was playing.

I would have to agree and say she wants to play, and more excercise. We have 3 rats and they will chase each other non-stop up and down in that cage. They love coming out and running around also. We have trained them so that they will primarily stay on the couch and not jump to the floor! Get her that plastic ball and see if she like that to run around in.

Rats are very VERY social. The minute they have to spend time a lone for long periods of time they get depressed and can even in extreme cases go insane.
Sounds like your rat is depressed. You should always get 2 rats if you don't plan on taking them out each for social interaction.
The only way to help your rat out is to start socializing with it again.
