i guess it's just a style, but it doesn't mean their lonely or dont friends, theres alot of emo and goth people at my school and theyve got alot of friends actually, it's just a style i guess, im not really into it though but i guess it's cool

Besides the obnoxiousness of obviousness. (For me anyway) I say it to be initially a personal perspective that then translates to a certain styles of apperance. Which then is put under a grouping system. Then equalling to what is grown as archtypes.

now the true definitions of emo and goth is that one (emo) is overly emotional. goth was actually originated from germanic tribes..the nomads, well the actual tribe was called saxony..the tribes eventually took over rome..
