I can't join a channel cause it says that my address is banned, I just want to know if there's a way that I can get myself unbanned. I don't think it's possible but anyway there's no harm in asking.
Thanks.

I used to chat on different flavors of IRC. And of course, I had used MIRC to chat too. The reason why an address is banned is because the administrator of a channel finds that there are many people from a particular ISP abusing the channel. So, the administrators would put a block on the ISP to prevent anyone from this ISP to get in. This action would ban all the good people in the ISP too. If you find that you are banned, you will need to contact the administrator(s) of the channel that you are trying to get in and see if they can lift the ban. If not, you may need to find a different ISP.

FYI, there is another way to ban a user too, which is to ban a user by his/her handle. But there is a problem to this method; in many IRC servers, the handles are not registered to a user. In other words, if a handle is banned, they need to change the handle and they can get in again. That's why many administrators prefer to ban an ISP because it would be harder for one to get a different ISP than getting a new handle.
