You have not mentioned ur age and other details. There are many causes for post-intercourse bleeding but most serious of it is cancer of cervix (second most common cancer in women in USA), so consult ur doctor immediatly to rule out that. Other causes are
Vigorous intercourse
Vaginitis
STD like genital warts
Bleeding disorders
hope this helps u
good luck!

I am guessing that you and your husband had sex for a long time, and probably very intensely at that. Your vagina probably just wasn't expecting to be performing for such a long time and you got micro-tears in your vaginal walls. I say that if it persists for two weeks after your first reunion, then you might actually have an STD (although I can't think of any that wouldn't hurt).
You are the only one who knows how intensely you and your husband had sex, so you can probably judge better than all of us whether you need to go see a doctor.

I had bleeding after sex twice in a row and I went to the doc's and they looked at my cervix and saw a cluster of vessels which they removed with a biopsy. You should go see your OB/GYN.
