I live in California.. we might move down there.. Los Angeles traffic is horrific! There is no way that Dallas traffic is just the same as LA traffic right?

I seriously doubt traffic here is as bad as it is in LA! But there are some scary stretches of freeway here. I've not been all over Dallas at rush hour, but I avoid the stretch of LBJ/I-635 between Central Expressway/75 and the Dallas North Tollway - or even as far as Stemmons/I-35 - at all costs before 9:30 a.m. and after 2:30 p.m. Stemmons/I-35, between LBJ/I-635 and downtown can be a nightmare too. I used to work in Plano near the Tollway and Legacy Drive, and traffic in that whole part of town has gotten so bad since I left there (in 1998) that I just don't go unless I have no other choice.

Whatever you do, don't move to Plano! ;-)

I would have to say LBJ and I 35 both SUCK! But the great thing about Dallas is you don't need a highway to get everywhere!
