I had my TVH last thurs, i dont drink alot of alcohol but have a party on 4th november, would i be able to have a couple of drinks, something i dont want to ask my gp so thought i would ask u

Well from personal experience, my advice would be to go along and enjoy yourself. Have a couple of drinks, but if like me you had Warfarin injections whilst in Hospital, your blood will still be thin, so take it easy. No exerting dancing!!

A couple of drinks should do you no harm, as long as you are not taking pain medication. Wouldn't get drunk or have more than a couple tho, as alcohol thins the blood and can cause internal bleeding if you drink too much.

My wife said its ok as long as your not on medication,but go OTT or dancing.She works at GPs surgery.
