nope, bored maybe.
I am older than that (much older) and have 5 tattoos and 12 piercings, and they all have significant meanings......
If you are very interested in these forms of art, then pursue it as a career, get a mentor piercer/tattoo artist and make a living at it. I love to see the beautiful art they do, although I am not artistic like that, I'd love to own a Tat Shop where I can surround myself with people who love their art......

I think that anyone who has either a tattoo or a piercing and then goes back to go through the torture again is a looney

No I do not think.
I am indifferent to the fact that you are 16 and that you have your piercings and tattoos. however, I do wonder that, if you had developed dermatological problems, or were born with what are called 'wine marks' on your skin, would you be seeking medical help to be rid of them?
It's a little like those who have cancer treatment and lose their hair as a result, while others pay money to have, in effect, this effect copied - and see it as fashionable!
One day, someone will go and have an amputation, just be be like their hero or heroin - start a fashion revolution; and why not, eh?

Looney, not really. Attention seeking, Definitly. If you plan on getting a real job, lose the facial piercings, hopefully your tats can be covered up. Before you start getting ink and punching holes in your face, you may want to think how it will affect future opportunities. Unless you plan on sucking on the gov't's teet. Then go ahead and mutilate yourself to your hearts contents, but don't feel bad when people point and laugh. Remember it was you who wanted to be noticed.

not a looney, just inexperienced. If you were older you would have thought more about if you really wanted those tatoo's or not. Some people have way more than that though and love it. I know an old man who has sleeve tatoo's and he said he wish he never got all of them, maybe just a few.

I don't think you're loony...I think it's pretty cool to be yourself and to identify with it. It doesn't matter what people think and it shouldn't with anything when it comes to us as individuals. I like tattoos and commend you on your 7 piercings, wow! You got more guts than me. Of course, there are people out there with alot more, and with alot more self-mutilating abstracts done to themselves...but,like I said, it shouldn't matter what others think and you shouldn't let them make you think otherwise. You are you and we are all ourselves out here. Keep on exploring yourself in mind and body and keep that fire lit. For a 16 year old, you're doing ok in my book. Have a gr8 life and a good time...
