I'd guess it's either that you aren't too enthusiastic about what you're studying, or you have poor teachers who suck all the fun out of the process.
I've had some boring and tedious assignments, and others that I've loved. Usually my feelings depend on one or both of the two things I mentioned.

I'm not a phychologist or a sociologist - but I think it's because you are studying things that don't sing to your heart. When you are learning about things you love, it can't possibly be boring.
You didn't say - but if you are completing this coursework with a final goal in mind - it will probably help to stay focused on the final goal - and know that the boring coursework is just a step towards having a life of bliss!
If the final goal is not appealing to you either - then it's time to change directions if you want to follow your heart!

I love coursework, did Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for my AS English Lit & Edith Wharton's Age of Innocence for my A2, I really enjoyed all my poetry coursework @ GCSE & loved my Religious Studies A Level coursework on the shroud of turin. I think coursework is so much more learnable I remember everything in my coursework assignments but barely anything from my exams.

Same. I am suffering with this condition for many years. I go from job to job, missing the old jobs and seeking new ones, while hating the current one. Months later I will be missing the old job again.
I blame society for forcing us to do things we dont want to do. With all this technology there should be enough resources that no one has to do anything, and yet it seems we're forced to do more all the time...
No answer here, just complaining.

It's cos you have to spend so much time on the same subject that it ends up being boring. That's why I hate English Lit, books aren't meant to be disected, they're meant to be enjoyed.

If it is that bad then there is something wrong with the people who are teaching you or you are in the wrong course.

No, it's not just you. I find that if I am forced to do something, no matter what it is, I get bored with it.
