For example, a book I recently read postulated that tarantula poison could become deadlier IF the spider ate crickets that were fed Amanita mushrooms (Destroying Angels). Would this in fact be true?

BTW, it was an old mystery, so I think it was only postulated as a interesting gimmick, not a truly valid scientific theory!

It would depend if the spider was immune to the effect of the amanita mushrooms, and if the spider's method of digesting the cricket (basically liquefying the critter's internal organs and sipping them up) would not destroy the structure of the poison in question.
The poison would not only have to remain intact, but somehow make it's way to the tarantula's own envenomation system in order for it to be injected into a human victim.
I think the premise is unlikely and contains a few scientific fallacies.

Good good fortune to you Tom. I additionally am a mommy to a 2 yr historical who's company approximately no longer consuming vegetables. Those who say 'set a well illustration'... 'consume them your self' obviously is NOT in my lifestyles. At 6 months pregnant I CRAVE vegetables and fruit to the factor of madness. I consume them alwasy while I wasn't preggy as good. My little man definitly is aware of mommy loves them and nonetheless refuses to consume them. I simply learn a piece of writing on choosy 2-yr historical consuming conduct. Basically it informed us to keep providing the meals... take a look at purchasing a cookbook displaying you amusing approaches to arrange the meals... BUT recognize you may have a 2 yr historical and that is facet of this age institution. Independence is a have to for two 12 months olds. NOT being informed what to do... however doing it on their possess, making their possess offerings. Picky consuming is a degree and does get bigger. Or so I learn :) Good good fortune to you! Lyn
