why do bananas get dark if you left them peeled ???

Their just getting ripe it's nothing wrong with the banana sometimes bananas turn dark when their unpeeled that means either it's ripe or rotten.

You mean if you haven't peeled them yet? It's because fruit keeps maturing until it starts to rot.

Oxidation - cover them so air and light cannot get to them
