I collect WWII memorabilia, usually I go through a private dealer. Anyone who's a fan of it would like the Band of Brothers DVD box set, coffee table books, model tanks and airplanes, and there's also games for Playstation2: Brothers in Arms, The Great Escape, Heroes of the Pacific, Medal of Honor, etc.

World War zone

World War Zone will transport you back into the past and onto the battlefield to explore the legacy of historic wartime.
World War II, also known as the Second World War, was a large scale military conflict that took place between 1939 and 1945. It engulfed much of the globe and was the largest and deadliest war in history.
World War II posters helped to mobilize a nation. Inexpensive, accessible, and ever-present, the poster was an ideal agent for making war aims the personal mission of every citizen. Government agencies, businesses, and private organizations issued an array of poster images linking the military front with the home front--calling upon every American to boost production at work and at home.
Deriving their appearance from the fine and commercial arts, posters conveyed more than simple slogans. Posters expressed the needs and goals of the people who created them. We take pride and pleasure in offering you a fine line of nostalgic World War II products that commemorate the wartime era.

My dad is also interested in WWII. I have gone to the History Channel store online and purchased a few documentaries for him which he really liked. Also, those 'coffee table" books are great too.
You may want to check out ebay for some artifcats but I'd be cautious with that. Good luck

an high priced present such as you propose is in basic terms too lots for certainly one of those short dating at this factor and definite the golfing shop clerk replaced into top. i might decide for some basic stuff like a equipment of golfing balls and tees perhaps or a pair of golfer's fingerless gloves if he would not already have any or club covers if he would not already have any. permit him decide for his very own golf equipment. The soccer blouse may be solid too. Small presents are acceptable for a three month dating. music jacket is wonderful no count if it is an low-value windbreaker type. do no longer go over board, you would be able to scare him off. in case you have a digicam, an exceptional framed image of him coaching his team could be an exceptional present. Or have him pose together with his team, then blow it as much as an 8x10 and purchase a physique.

Yes. Get him a square globe (can be found all over the Internet). That of course is Christian Right's view of the Earth circa 2006.

I like historic maps. Maybe you can find a map of a particular battle or region as it was during the war. He could hang it up in his game room.

I suggest a TerrorStorm dvd. You can get it at PrisonPlanet.com or view it for free at Google video.
Anyone who "loves" war deserves to be informed.
