Here's the situation: Through a very complicated process, I have become head of state of some minor country with a whole lot of resources and unused wealth. I open the borders to all really cool people, and start work on creating a utopia. What would you incorporate into a perfect country?

Here are some examples: I would make several years of military service mandatory for every able-bodied man, exceptions for those with religous compunctions about fighting. I would make higher education and training completely free for exceptional students and leaders. I would not try to industrialize the country completely, knowing that the earth can't support the industrializtion we already have for very long. I would by top-quality weapons and equipment from the US and train my military forces to all be top-notch super-commandos. And then I'd marry a beautiful native princess and retire.

What would you propose if you were a member on my cabinet? Best thought-out answer will win.

BTW, this country does have a democratic form of government. It's just that I've recently saved their country from a bunch of terrible people, and so they are willing to work with on just about anything so long as I continue to be right. Come on guys, have some fun! What do you wish your country did different?

Well, umm first off all I'd propose allowing moral autonomy to govern the people of this new contry instead of imposing political authority and allow the people to rule themselve instead of dictating to them how to live their lives. I'd not create an army of super commandos funded by the US military industrial machine as I wouldn't want to be their puppet. You're kidding yourself if you think buying their weapons and equipment wouldn't do this. Look at the other countries that arm their forces with US gear... I wouldn't call any of those countries utopia...

different than for the 87% of persons desiring somebody that could characterize their faith- this would not be an argument IF the aptitude applicants faith became no longer a threat to their freedom of speech advert faith. It would not count what faith you're (or are no longer for that count) , an atheist that claimed to be tolerant of others faith and freedoms does no longer choose for to vote somebody of a particular faith into workplace in the event that they felt that persons faith ought to impact them to make selections that could impact their very own freedoms and might compromise their ability to freely stay in accordance to their very own values. it would be impossible for a place to be 'utopian' if each and every physique became unfastened to have self assurance and act as they thrilled as one persons faith and values are almost consistently going to conflict with, infringe upon, and contradict somebody else's . religious tolerance is a fantasy and that's what might avert Christians from vote casting a Muslim into workplace without questioning two times approximately it

To please more people you have to include more people a true Democracy with rule & control by the majority starting with rule & control over Money/Power/Wealth by the legal majority NOT the Minority MOB few! Eliminate or reduce the role of Representative Government! They must be subjected to immediate termination & be true public servants if deemed must have!
