Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College
(Originally located in Venice, Florida, then relocated to Baraboo, Wisconsin and finally Sarasota, Florida) trained around 1,400 clowns in the "Ringling style" from 1968 to 1997.

at my university (huddersfield university) we actually have a society in clown activitys like juggleing and uni cycleing, try contact one fo the memebers for more information!
they will get you in contact with more people associated with the activity
