I have to agree with Amy S. I am not a nurse, but I do have Crohn's disease. It is manageable under a doctor's care,... but first you should be tested to rule out anything else.
Have your family doctor recommend a Gastroenterologist. Tell this person about what you have going on. (You didn't mention any cramping or intestinal pains.)
Either way, get checked out, then FOLLOW any regimens laid out by your doctor. It's the best way to avoid any unnecessary need for surgery down the road. Not trying to be scary, just honest.
Good luck!

That's normal for a lot of people. Eating stimulates the bowel to empty so the intestines can do their work more efficiently.

You already have many good suggestions but I would recommend that you also get some friendly bacteria in your
stomach. Friendly bacteria's are mostly found in yougurt.
For the most benefit, buy plain yogurt and add a little honey
if you have trouble eating it plain.

Because you have a fast digestive system or you are just backed up. Try taking a laxative every now and again to clear the way.

You may have a form of IBS. Is there any pain associated with the BMs? If painful, see a dr. You could hace Crohns disease (like me).
