sound like the timing is out. check what the idle revs should be cos 500 sounds too low and the car is trying to stall

Look in your owners book and it will tell you the idle speed for your type of transmission. Some where around 800 rpms for most.

All of the cylinders aren't firing when it gets that slow. That can be lots of things. Worn engine, old plugs, clogged injectors. 500 is pretty low anyway, but if you want it 100% a major tuneup will fix the little stuff and identify the major stuff.

engine is idling too low...My guess is either to much or not enough air.. check for cracked hoses and such for air leaks that can cause a rolling idle and problems as stated... Also check for a throttle body that needs cleaning

Idle should be about 700 in neutral

your idle is too low, the reason it vibrates is the rolling weight of the crankshaft is causing an out of balance condition at lower rpm, I would have the vehicle checked out.

turn up the idle u want it to idle around 800 or so u can ajust it so it isnt racing the engine and dont turn it up to much or it will jump when u put it in gear
