Given the fact that we are almost running out of the fossil deposits of energy, solar energy is the only hope; Besides, we need to tap other renewable forms of energy like wind energy, solar energy also.

Until (if!) we can solve the problem of what to do with the radioactive waste products, and the dangerous nature of nuclear power, I'd leave it off the list of "hope for the future." :(
Solar is simple. All you need is reasonable surface area to catch the sun's energy, that's it. No waste products, no pollution, no bad side effects -- clean and simple. The only downside -- it doesn't work as well at high latitudes or in places where there are lots of clouds. But I could easily imagine using large areas of desert in low latitudes as "solar farms," and transmitting the electricity to where it's needed.
Wind power is also a simple, clean way to generate electricity and is way underused. There are also people working on "ocean power" -- where the oscillations from ocean waves push and pull panels that drive turbines and generate power. Lots of possibilities, the problem with most of them now is that a) they're somewhat expensive to start up (mostly because of low volume of usage) and b) the big oil companies, with their billions in extra cash, are fighting hard to keep any of them from gaining a foothold and making them lose business.

Solar energy & wind enegy are the answers. Clean & renewable. I really don't like nuclear. Until the figure out what to do with all the nuclear waste, I'm against it. France depends heavily on nuclear and are knee deep in nuclear waste and don't know what to do with it.

Solar, wind and water sources are my choices for 'hope of future' energy sources
Nuclear leaves behind far too much deadly waste that, at the moment, seems ridiculous in magnitude and the way in which it is disposed of. Yes it is a solution to fossil fuel however ultimately is it a cleaner one? Is it truly a safer one? Not in my opinion

Yes most probably nuclear & solar energy would be leading in the future. not only for complete cities but also for small buildings & cars . Hydrgen & oxygen fuel cells would also be populer.

photograph voltaic ability is the destiny, the present and the previous. Fossil fuels are merely photograph voltaic ability accumulated via historic vegetation, that's why it extremely is "fossil" gasoline. As to making an investment in photograph voltaic panels. modern-day commercial photovoltaic cells are approximately 15% useful, the present checklist is 40 two.8% and sixty 5% cells are on the drafting board. making an investment in photograph voltaic panels now could be like making an investment interior the present low interest bonds, you're greater useful off merely waiting some years and then making an investment. there is not any doubt which you will possibly save some money yet you will possibly save so lots greater in case you purely waited for the hot technologies. for sure, government subsidies ought to sway the equation.

nuclear is cheaper more easy. people just fear it so much i agree we should have more solar or wind powered plants but they take up alot of space and are harder to build.but i think in our lifetimes there will always be more nuclear power than solar power simply because of the cost to maintain a solar power plant. if it was cheaper we would have more solar plants than nuke plants right
