Only a few ways to get out of a contract. some are
1. Clinically proven to be insane while you signed the contract
2. Underage
3. Intoxicated when you signed (and you can prove it)
Usually signing the contract will bind you to that. What I would do is talk to the person and let them know you want out. See what they say. With it being so early and only 1 day passed they might let you out of it.

What does the contract stipulate? Most agreements have a built-in 'Right of Rescission' period, usually three days or so, but if the contract specifically states there is NONE then you may be out of luck. Have an attorney versed in business law review it and he or she would be able to give you solid advice. Good Luck!

Usually you have 30 days until the contract is binding but you need to read the contract and see if there is a clause stating differently.

It depends on the kind of contract. Look at the contract carefully and see if there is a "right of refusal" or "right of recission" clause...that will dictate if and how long you have to cancel.
