most likely he likes you and is scared to tell you. and if it makes you uncomfortable you need to talk to him about it. if you don't let him know it is not o.k. no one else will.

Well its quite clear the position you friend has been taking towards you making new Male friends. So I think you could answer your own question. He likes you, obviously! Even if he denies it. There seems to be a feeling of affection and protection that a male companion would or should show towards a partner, and every time you meet or date someone new he becomes defensive. Well look im no shrink but I call it as I see it, theirs something there. Talk to him and find out his true intentions, because if this behavior continues it will definitely affect your future relationship with him.
Good luck

Girl, he is obviously has some control issues and he may see you as a piece of property .Or he may be really like you and he might get scared that youre gonna meet some guy and his chance will be gone to be able get close to you! Wich means it probably wont stop unless you become his Lady.

Either give him a chance to be your boyfriend or end it. Very few friendships where two opposite sexes can be friends. Usually when a guys is friends with a girl, it is because he likes her to be other than his friends.

regrettably, some adult males are possessive of their woman pals using fact they want it extremely is going to become something greater via scaring off each and all of the contest. I certainly have a woman chum who has a guy performing a similar approximately her - she's questioning of telling him the place to flow if he can't be greater 'chum' like and much less 'boyfriend' like.

Naturally, he likes you. This doesn't mean he "likes you" likes you, but it's likely (try saying that five times fast). It could mean that he thinks he knows you very well and thinks your choices in guys is flawed, at least recently, and because of this he is being overly protective, which he views as simply being protective. He might have good cause to be, as well, as he might have opportunity to be around these guys in situations where their character shows some not so nice aspects of themselves that you wouldn't be privy to.

Honey, this friend of yours wants you for more than a friend.....have you ever thought of trying him out to see if he is your soul mate????????? He sounds like he wants to make sure that you are protected and that no one will hurt you.....if you want to have other close friends you need to talk to him and let him know your feelings.....tell him that he needs to back off and let you do what you want to do or else he is risking loosing your friendship too......

He thinks of you as more than a friend. It might be best for you to not spend time with him for a number of months. Once you are separated from him for a while, he will be more able to deal with you having other male friends.
Take care,
Troy

He likes you! I think that he has feelings for you and doesn't know how to tell you. Or he doesn't want to risk messing up the friendship.
