Is anyone getting multiple answers with ads about the same thing?
It happened to me. There were several answers, from different users, all advertising the same stupid site. I clicked on one of them, looked at their answer history, and ALL of their answers are advertisements, and there are also lots of ads from "other" users on that question. Here is an example: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
Look at the last 4 answers to this poor dudes question. They are all ads for the same thing! Its sickening!!! Is this happening to anyone else? Is it because spammers are using multiple accounts and trying to overwhelm us?
Grrrr! Lets report these jerks if they keep doing it.

You know what? They are bots with a spam mission. So report them now. For abuse with SPAM to Yahoo.

I am always seeing people doing this. It is so stupid. Most of the ones I have seen are for that stupid dating website. Most of the time it doesn't even answer the question that was being asked. Anytime I see one of these people I report it. It doesn't seem to do any good though. They just keep creating new accounts and coming back.

I don't report much around here, but I do report things like that. Spamming annoys the heck out of me & I'll click on report every dang time with ads like that.

I report these jerks all the time. Then I get e-mails from them asking me why I report them. I even posted a 'warning' to the readers here not to fall for the ploys because its pure solicitation...and I got a friggin violation for abusing the site!!! Do you believe this? Because it wasn't a question.

They should definantly get in trouble for things like that. Advertise the old fashioned way and actually PAY for your ad. WOW what a concept!!! I know this is America and I know this is the internet but its unwanted. That should be an option when you notify... harrasment "no", adult language "no", spam "yes".

yes, all the time, I report as many of them as I come across, but they all just keep advertising. It's gonna ruin this site, like they ruined Yahoo chat (and now it's that god-awful boat thing)

I agree. People who are trying to sell things and not answering questions should be reported.

i report it everytime i see it. it's not that I'm offended by the spamming, but more that I get my accounts and questions deleted right away but those ads are on for DAYS and not removed
