Cards. They were way underrated due to their mediocre regular season record. With most of their impact players healthy we should finish it out in 6 games. If it goes to 7 we will have Carpenter going anyway. But the Tigers are a little overrated. A leadoff hitter that sets a new record for strikeouts. And C'mon, Polanco in the 3 hole? He has only hit 63 home runs in his career! Pudge's batting average has dropped faster than his weight did after getting off the juice. Still, give much credit to Dave Duncan and his pitching staff. Cards in 6.

Last night at 7:00 central time, I would have said the Tigers in 6 games. Now I am still leaning Tigers....but it is going to take all 7 games to do it.

although it breaks my heart to say it--the Cards in 5 or 6 games.
the Tigers are still getting ok pitching but now thier bats have went silent! When your lead-off and 3rd hitter are a combined 0 for 25 its trouble with a capital T
I still hope for my TIGERS-but if they don't win tonite against Suppan -no hope remains! Still was fun to see my team playing in October!!
