I feel the reverand has the right to his opinion,
I also am a christian...
I believe that t.v. and movies, and books have gone to far, we have lost the morals and values we once had, and sure our world is not as innocent as we once were.
As for the fact that women are not equal to man, and that we should embelish mens needs like we were slaves is nonsence...Love and marriage and mutual respect is what makes a relationship strong...women do not only bear our children but we are the mental strength in a relationship...and MEN with the oninion that women were put here to be barefoot and pregnant and subsurviant to them are the reason that women are abused...
You talk about the future of children maybe you should think of what you stated about women...you are also ok with lesbians well, what does that say about you...I suspect that your a male schavunist...if your such a christian, you should know (the bible does not condone gays or lesbians)...so put that in your pipe and smoke it...(get off your high horse)...
As for the books of Harry Potter...this was written to be fantasy... and entertainment...when reading to books and viewing the movies...it is meant to take you on a journey and for your imagination to have fun...
What you precieve may not be the same as someone else...you odviously have a very active immagination...
PEOPLE LIKE THIS HAVE TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS!!! TO TAKE A INNOCENT STORY AND TURN IT INTO SOMETHING THAT IT IS NOT...FIND SOMETHING TO DO WORTHWHILE WITH YOUR SELF AND FEED THE POOR, OR GO OUT AND HELP THE COMMUNITY OR SOMETHING...SPREAD THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH YOU HAVE SO MUCH KNOWLEDGE OF.

stop bashing someones story and blaming these books for the things and the way our world is turning out...its the parents fault if their children are going wrong...you cant blame books and movies...children need to have possitive role models and it starts at home...not in a movie theatre...
as for the things you pointed out in the book, the charaters...those are your opinions... and writing trash as you did just probably, enlightened someone without those views and now they could be a bigot, or gay, but before they probably could have left it alone...as a innocent story...I feel that you are just pushing your views and opinions on innocent people and you should stop, just like you feel the Author of H.P. should

I think that Harry Potters adventures are admirable for that reason

Its completely idiotic and stupid, i went to his website forum and wrote a whole bunch of stuff that he got wrong and everything. Unfortunately now i feel stupid because after looking at the page a second time i know its fake because at the top of the second review he gives of HP and the goblet of fire it says that the main charries are, id unno some fake names and then on his other page he mentions that Hermione is played by Emma Watson. I'm pretty sure its a fake.

the one who wrote this was a rasist, a misogin (or whatever the word for the person who does not believe in the emancipation of women is) and above all an idiot or extraordinary STUPID.
i think that all the persons that think that way are really closed minded and their children won't get in contact with "the work of the devil". they will be indoctrinated freaks.
A child/ person should decide by her/himself whats good and what's bad for him, not to be told by a complete a s s hole who thinks that children learn about sex from harry potter and not from any magazine and who think women's only job is to satisfy " her man" ......oh i forgot "that the only thing a woman needs a broom for is sweeping the damn house"

OK...this has GOT to be some kind of twisted spoof!! If it isn't, then the author is insane....and I mean SERIOUSLY, not funny, not just an insult - insane but really CRAZY. Someone needs to locate this poor man and get him off the streets and into a treatment facility.
