There are many reasons why people will get Daemon messages. I get them all the time. Here are some of those reasons:

You typed the email address improperly.
They have run out of space at that email address and there is no room in thier box for a new message.
They have not checked that address in so long that the address was disabled.
They have turned off that address.
The yahoo server was having trouble or was busy at the time you sent the message.

What I suggest is that you try to send the email again later. If you still get the same thing then try contacting your friend outside of email. If you haven't talked to them in a long time and the email address is very old, it's possible that it may not exist anymore as they might have changed it. Or they don't work at that health care center anymore. It is possible that the health care center may have changed thier domain (that's the words after the @). You could try calling that company and asking if she still works there and if so if they have changed their domain address. It also could just be that thier server was down at the time.

I hope this helps.

I'm having this problem with Yahoo Plus Mail (two different accounts) since Saturday morning, March 10th using Thunderbird. Everything was OK the day before. I don't think that it is a Thunderbird or Mozilla issue since it also happened once last year. It is probably a security problem with Yahoo servers and Yahoo will eventually get it fixed, but probably not on the weekend. Be patient and if it isn't fixed by Monday night, submit a problem report. I doubt that anyone will read the problem reports before Monday anyway. You can always send by logging into the webmail. Just without the POP convenience that you paid for.

Its probally because the email address is wrong. It could also be that u or the person might have accidently set your email not to be able to send or receive messages from a specifice email. Hope this was a little bit helpful.

It means he couldn't get the message through but he (server) is going to try again. Then if it goes you won't hear any more. If it doesn't you will get a failed delivery message and probably means wrong address or some such thing.

Perhaps you accidently typed the email address wrong? I've got the before and i realized i left out a letter or something.

Your message was unable to be delivered because of a connection. maybe you should try to send it smaller (the size) or at an another time
