Mozilla Firefox OR Internet Explorer 7?
Which of these 2 is the best in terms of security, performance and layout.

I myself prefer IE, but I wouldn't get 7, all the new stuff Microsoft and Yahoo is coming out with sucks lately. But as far as security, I know Mozilla Firefox is better. Most people prefer it, I just don't like it's layout.
I would suggest you to leave IE as it is, and download Firefox. This will let you check out Firefox. If you don't like it, then you will still have IE one your PC so you can use whichever you like.

Firefox in my opinion, IE is too full of itself... especially version 7, i dont like it at all. Its not as customizable as firefox with regards to extensions and plugins.
I need a browser with skins, otehrwise I get sick of the default look and feel.

Firefox is my opinion as well. I downloaded IE7 and have had problems loading webpages ever since. My connection feels more like a dial-up ever since I downloaded IE7. I would not suggest using it.
