is there anyway to block websites from knowing wich browser i'm using?
i use firefox and i hate when sites say "you don't appear to use ie, this site requires ie to view"...is there anyway to block them?

yes there is. i remember opera had a choice of what user agent to claim you were. there may be an extension for firefox. there's no reason to change it though. it is not invasive.

You are probably having a problem with firefox. may need to reinstall the software... All browsers function the same... i prefer IE , google or Yahoo browsers..

not really. otehrwise sites liek the one that you visit wont properly display, why would you want that anyway?
