There is evidence to show that quite a few do get into a "cycle of abuse".
Foley didn't have physical sexual relations with 14 year olds or 16 year olds for that matter.

Statistically most people who become pedifiles or pervs. have been molested as children. It messes with you emotionally and what you learn about your own sexuality can be tied to these negative experiences. Of course, not all children who are abused grow up to be pervs. many overcome this and become healthy individuals.

Hell no!!!! Pedophilia, like rape, is not about the person or the act. It all has to do with control. Dominating another person and taking control. Just like being a boy who was molested will not make you a homosexual.

why is this in politics? is it because of the Foley scandal? well anyway, to answer your question, there is a higher chance that they will act out sexually when they are older, that doesn't mean they will be a perv, just that there is a higher chance of that or other types of acting out. serious answer to a question that was probably a joke.

at what age do you take responsibility for yourself? I remember me at age 14 and i believe that i knew having sex with a older man was wrong.at what point was the advantage taken,unless he forcibly raped you get over it

I think, statistically, there is a higher likelihood. But, not everyone who was molested will grow to molest.
