What does "tying on the dinosaur" mean?

This is a line from a Sublime song, and I've been going crazy trying to figure out what it means.

It's slang for tying off your upper arm to find a vein when you shoot heroin. When Brad sings "Nothing can stop me from tying on the dinosaur tonight," he means nobody's going to be able to stop him from shooting up, which sadly, was the case.
