I agree with you on all points because I am a Liberal Catholic and a graduate of Notre Dame University. I have never agreed with abortion unless molested or raped (A Catholic View Point for Decades). The Rove v Wade upholds only these situations. The States are the ones that are in control of the abortion issue State by State, and it differs from State to State also...I know for myself, I wouldn't put myself in a poor situation as to ever have to have an abortion.

1. That is sort of both but most would say it is a conservative standpoint. It isn't that the liberal view is lenient on illegal immigration, it is more that the liberal view is more interested in helping all people and not just people that live in the US. I'd call this moderate conservative.
2. This is a middle of the road kind of view. Conservative tends to shy away from women empowerment if only because it is a change and conservative by definition is resistant to change. I'd call this moderate liberal.
3. This is a definitive liberal viewpoint. Many conservatives believe in the "sanctity of marriage" over the rights of their citizens.
4. This is a definitive conservative viewpoint. Many conservatives believe that abortion should not be used under any circumstances. Liberals may hold the viewpoint that abortion is wrong or is murder, but they understand that the right of a person to choose to have an abortion is different from their personal views. I believe you can hold the viewpoint that a woman is able to choose to have an abortion and that abortion is murder.

Greetings!
1) Neither. To say you are would suggest the other is not law abiding, and I don't think you mean that is the case. You don't need to affiliate with a political party to be a law abiding citizen.
2) Neither. It is not the place for a political party to determine what basic unalienable rights are. Remember the part about them being self evident.
3) Neither. Again rights are things that are unabated by political belief. What next? Left handed people? Silly walkers?
4) Neither. Abortion is nor should ever have been a political issue. Voicing your opinion that it is murder, is your right. Don't you belief that there are liberals, who believe it is murder also?
Thus you are a passionate caring person, who should not get caught up into being a Conservative, or Liberal, or Democrat or Republican. I think you are the person who votes with their head and will continue to do so.
Too many people today are marching to the beat of a different drum. March to your own.
Good Luck

When discussing politics, if you get called liberal or neo-con you may as well stop talking to that person.
Why do you need a label?
1. that would depend on by which legal means you think they should come.
2. replace women with blacks/hispanics and answer that question. Then I can give you your answer. As in, "How do you feel about affirmative action?"
3. that would be liberal. because regardless to whatever morality you subscribe to, you think people should be free to do what they want. liberal = liberty.
4. conservative. because you think we need to conserve morality.
A liberal is typically someone who thinks people should be free to make their own choices without the law/gov't getting involved. Who often thinks the governement should aid people in making their own choices.
A conservative is typically someone who believes we need to conserve morality and time-tested values. That people should not be free to just run wild and do what they want and the gov't/law should be able to stop them.
However, both end up just being another stereotype, I even think that's what *I* gave you. It's just another way of seperating us. If you ask why certain groups of people tend to be liberal and some conservative, like most things, it usually comes down to $$$.
You'll find hypocrisy in both.
anyway, it feels like I'm doing your homework....

1. Your position is that of a moderate conservative. Authoritarian conservatives support wall-building and other draconian measures.
2. Your position is some of both. Liberals tend to embrace equal pay, but support affirmative action (which says minorities should be hired simply because they are minorities, regardless of skill/education).
3. Your position is very liberal. Conservatives generally do not recognize sexual rights.
4. Your position is very conservative, right on the level with Right To Life.
Rather than seek to label yourself, maybe you should consider adopting a libertarian or anarcho-capitalist philosophy -- live and let live. :)

I think you are confused and need to give a little more consideration to your opinions. How can a woman have the same rights as a man in getting a job? After all men have the right and the ability to control their bodies and choose what they are going to do with their bodies, and what they are going to allow others to do with their bodies. You believe women are not able to intelligently make those same decisions. How can a woman make decisions necessary to do important jobs in the work place if they are not capable of deciding all issues relating to their body.

1. Lean Conservative (everyone should feel this way however)
2. That is already the case. Woman already have all the rights that men do. Everyone wants this
3. Liberal. Conservatives believe in maintaining the traditional form of marriage. That doesn't mean they are anti-gay however.
4. Lean Conservative I would say although that is a very broad subject with many variables

1. conservative, Conservatives in general believe that illegal means criminal and criminal means unwelcome
2. conservative, equal means equal, not a selective few rights and benefits
3. liberal- to many of the religious right, myself included, the word marriage is religious, and many religions are not for gay marriage, to force them to comply, or to call it a marriage is a destruction of religion, if you called it a civil union, than not many would object.
4. Conservative - conservatives all seem to agree, abortion is murder.

I would say that overall you are a conservative. I am a conservative on most issues but I have a few subjects that I am more liberal on. I do not think anyone is 100% on either side of the political spectrum.
