I hear that both Dems and Reps working for campaigns have been spying on websites like this, gathering opinion & info, and posing falsely as the other party's worker-bees. I just was accused of being a lib dem when I am just a Republican who hates Bush. Ya know, it is possible to be Conservative and not like Bush. The two aren't mutually exclusive. Anyway, why don't you freaks try something new like adding to the GDP for a change!!!

I agree. I am also a Republican who has completely lost faith with Bush, and I feel that the GOP has abandoned fiscal conservatives and have instead adopted the extremist right wing social conservative platform. I feel lost and betrayed, because my party no longer represents my interests. While I do not intend to shift parties, I will probably have to vote the Democratic ticket, because the GOP is totally out of touch and apparently also out of control. Moderates like me dont have a home anymore in the Republican party.

I would not call it spying, since they are open to the public. It is common in a campaign to have their workers monitoring what the man in the street is doing, this is just an electronic version of that.

If you are a true Republican you would not hate Bush. You may disagree with him and think we should do things another way but you would not hate him. You would not hate his tax cuts but you would dislike his spending habits. You most likely would not like his stand on illegal immigration. You would back the military but would not be in favor of the war in Iraq. So by saying you hate Bush you give yourself away as a liberal Democrat.
