What are your views on her character in the BBC drama adapted from a novel by Sarah Waters?

I think she played the character really well, a controversial programme I know but at wasn't afraid to go wher other tv producers etc daren't. Though how anyone would mistake her for a boy I don't know as she still looked feminine to me. If they were to revive "The Avengers" I think she would make an excellent choice to replace her mum as miss Peel.
