I think that it is okay depending on the cartoon. I Thought with scobby-doo it was really neat to see who the picked and i liked it, but Garfield was dumb. no one looked like the correct except Garfield.

But I think the real reason is they are running out of ideas for movies, that's way they are doing comic book and old movies from the 70's they are out of ideas

It probably won't end. Just like how they did Shrek and how it looks all 3D ish, now the creators wouldn't stop making more cartoons like that for movies. Movies like Over the Hedge and Flushed Away and Corpse Bride all have that 3D look and It hasn't stopped ever since they experimented with shrek, so I wouldn't really know.

When they make these cartoons into real moves they never can get it right. I have not seen one good real life movie yet that was made from a cartoon. I don't like the idea how they do that.

the question was when will they stop making animated shows into movies, not when will they stop making animated movies, and corpse bride is like a nightmare before christmas, stop motion animation. they use clay and moce it every frame to make the movie.

but the one i'm really scared about is transformers the live action movie. i prey they dont screw it up, but i said that about the super mario brothers movie, and the streetfighter movie. lets keep our fingers crossed people

it doesnt really matter does it?? Its just a bit of fun to see cartoons in real life - a bit of a different experience.

Besides - it mean more money for the directors and the film industry in general!

Who knows...........they might go the other way round......cartoon Harry Potter!!

You forgot the Flintstones.
But I think it will end when there are no more cartoons.
Until then, we'll have to keep watching those movies.

When they ruin it for all of us. Just like the comic book movies.

they're only doing it because they already know we like the show so there's a pretty good chance we'll like the movie and it's a way to make even more money.
