For the "say one thing, mean another" idea, the song "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" is a really good example. The line "I hope you had the time of your life" is supposed to be sarcastic and ironic, like the narrator of the song just wants to be rid of the person they're talking to.
But if you just mean good metaphors and figures of speech, there are a lot. Here are a couple examples:

F.O.D.: "Let's Nuke The Bridge We Torched Two Thousand Times Before / This Time We'll Blast It All To Hell" - let's just finish this thing once and for all

Worry Rock: "Yelling At Brick Walls And Punching Windows Made Of Stone" - wasting your time doing something that means nothing at all, and ending up only hurting yourself in the end

Song:Who Wrote Holden Caulfield?
There's a boy who fogs his world and now he's getting lazy
there's no motivation and frustration makes him crazy
He makes a plan to take a stand but always ends up sitting
Someone help him up or he's gonna end up quitting
