soap operas? I use to, now if I turn them on, they seem so stupid! I don't know how I ever watched them.

I have watched every episode of Days of Our Lives since 1965...

No. I watch Discovery, The History Channel, stuff like that instead. If I want melodrama, I'll watch a movie rather than a soap opera.

I only watch them if I know a good storyline is coming up.I don't think they are stupid,they raise a lot of very important issues which mirror peoples' lives.Domestic violence is top of my list for what people should be made aware of.No,I have to disagree with you.Plus whenever an important issue has been highlighted they put helplines up at the end of the programme.

Sadly, yes. I have watched All My Children for the past 22 years. I am a professional with two degrees, but I watch the stupidest, most vapid T.V. programs of anyone I know. lol

Off and on. TV is on at work all day (part of the job). I sometimes watch All My Children and One Life to Live. How many times can one character get poisoned, kidnapped, injured, etc.???!!! Right now I decided to put on HGTV instead.

I hadn't watched in years, but got sucked back into General Hospital recently. I think mainly because a lot of the old characters are back on the show.

I watch Days every now and then. If I miss it for a week oh well I can catch up in a day because what they were doing a week ago they wil still be doing til Christmas.

Lol, I watched them when I was younger (19-21) but no longer do, I feel the same way, I sit down and attempt to watch them, And I'm like 'What the...this is retarded' and change it.

I used to be addcited to All my Children. Now that I watch them, they are so stupid, no meaning whatsoever. You are right!
