Do you have a big turkey with all the fixin's?
It is always just us for Thanksgiving. We aren't big on crowds anyway.
I'm the only one in the house that likes Turkey so we wind up with stuffed pork chops every year.

I'm a traditional Thanksgiving gal. We have a 20+ pound turkey, stuffed and roasted. Mashed Potatoes. Homemade Gravy. Cranberry sauce. Peas and corn. Minced pie and Apple pie and Pumpkin pie with homemade ice cream for dessert.

Then we sleep for hours, 10 pounds heavier but happy as can be! LOL

Well couple years ago I figured out that we really all like white meat so starting buying two turkey breast to roast. Everyone comes here so we can have 4-20 people through the course of the day. Some of the kids go to other in-laws but they always stop by our house too.

Turkey
Mash Potatoes
Gravy
Sweet Potatoes
Green Bean Casserole
Stuffing
Corn Casserole
Cranberries
Yeast Rolls
Pumpkin Pie

I have most of the stuff done the night before so there is very little work and my husband is wonderful about helping out. We watch TV - play games - play with the kids - meet new people - my one daughter seems to always bring new people home that did not have a place to go - and be thankful.

My son is at boot camp this thanksgiving - first thanksgiving without him - Bless and thank you to all the men and women that serve the US. and your families that miss you.

Everyone comes to our house. We have a huge feast that includs turkey & honey baked ham. I love it when people walk into the house an hour before dinner & there is the raw turkey sitting on the counter. They always freak out & ask "what time is dinner????"
We deep fry the turkey on Thanksgiving so it doesn't take that long to cook. I just love watching everyone's reaction!!!!

I think Thanksgiving Day is fun... It is one tradition that I keep. We sometimes do the turkey at home or go over to a relatives and cooperate with a dessert or something. It is nice to be able to share and get to see relatives this way... Anyway, it is also the day that marks the beginning of the Christmas Season, which is also fun...

We're going to my daughter's house for Thanksgiving. It will be a traditional dinner.

Stuffed pork chops sound good.

Thanksgiving is big in our house. We prefer to do the cooking at our house with turkey (one roasted and one smoked), ham (for those who don't like turkey) and all the fixings. It's fun when everything turns out right.

Well...I would usually celebrate thanksgiving with my family, but they all live far...or more like I live far they all still live in the same country. Last year I had dinner with my ex-roommate and her kids, it was ok, didn't feel like thanksgiving. This year, since I happen to be living again in the same state I used to years ago, I have decided to drive to the city I lived in and see my best friends that i've known since high school that we still keep in touch...all the time. It'll be thanksgiving with people I consider family.
