It is no trick if you understand how it works, if they want a certain one to win the simple thing is to put some to run against him that they know that no one wants, but, just in case things don't go as planned the masters will own both ,so they win no matter what,
The people could change that by forming other parties and convincing the Idiots their vote won't be lost or wasted by voting for some one they don't think will win,If you vote for the best man and he loses so what at least you didn't help one of the established crooks win and they can smirk and say we fooled them good didn't we,if the people voted for the best man instead of the party, it would send a message to the others that the people are not happy or gullible

How is it a trick if everyone knows it already. I think people just vote for whomever they think is the lesser evil. That's what I do.
