My sister and her boyfriend want a couples costume and instead of buying one. I came up with the idea to make her a bride and him a groom. Sister will be in a OLD birdes gown. She will have a rope around her neck with a gun in her hand. Her boyfriend will be in a OLD Suit. He will have a gun shot in his stomach with blood pouring out. I am having a party and I they are to be getting married soon in real life. I thought it was cleaver. Is it?

That's a great idea!!! I'm having a party too and my recently married sister and husband are going as a banana and a gorilla. I also thought about me and my girlfriend going as little red riding hood and the big bad wolf dressed as granny.

Eeehhh, it's ok! No offense, but I don't think it's that clever! Maybe the groom can have the rope around his neck, and the bride can some how look crazy and controlling (don't know how to depict that on a costume though). I think this is funnier than just having a dead bride and groom. People typically think of the groom going crazy because of the bride, not both of them going crazy and dying! Happy Halloween!

I don't like it but then I don't really count.
Dress like celebrity couples of past and present. Jessica and Nick, Brad and Angelina, Brad and Gwen, etc. There's always Starsky and Hutch, Superman and wonder-woman, Jack and Jill, Frankenstein and his bride, Jessica and Roger Rabbit, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Fork and spoon, a 6 pack of beer with 4 missing, get it ha ha. Connected together with some clear tape. The list for couples costumes goes on and on. Do a search for couples on-line.
Then again, if you already have the stuff to go with your original plan, go for it. It's only one night.

how bout instead of blood pouring out a blood stained (ketcup whatever hole). And a water gun not a real one, and the rope around the next could seriously be a safety hazard so consider an alerternative to that.
