I dont think it is a matter of weight, but inability to evacuate the house by yourself. old skinny people have to get moved all the time.
if you are overweight and cant move on your own power, start eating right and excercising more. just start by going on walks.
I work with a lady that is so overweight and lazy that she got a little scooter. there is nothing more depressing than watching a overweight lazy person get special treatment, when the disabled guy that can hardly walk that is down the hall from me stumbles up and down the stairs everyday on his own.
get in shape.

All I know is that this reminds me of an episode of "The Jerry Springer Show" where there was a bedridden man who weighed in excess of 900 lbs. that had to be excavated from his house by the fire dept. tearing out one of the walls to his house. Additionally, he had to be weighed on a truck scale and transported to the hospital on a flatbed.

Big enough that you cannot fit thru any doorways. The weight could differ. 500lbs. It depends when thier bodies break down. The fire dept. normally goes thru a window.

First I love your name
as to your question, these people are gross and shouldn't have been fed so much they are at risk from passing whale ships, somebody had to have been feeding them for some time. yuck!
And if they can't get out of the house where do you suppose they have been going to the bathroom?? They can't use a toilet or reach to wipe themselves when they do go. double yuck!!

LOL! I don't think it's based on weight. I think it's when a person is too large to move themselves.

If I was a fireman, I would just roll him out. No lifting required.
