Dealing with it this way will hopefully help him understand what you're going thru, & hopefully won't be offended/defensive about you talking to him, about his mom.
1st- Tell him about the circumstances that made you feel/think his mom doesn't like you.
2nd- Ask him if those circumstances happened between him & your mom, would it make him feel/think she might not like him?
3rd- Then tell him that his mom made you feel/think she doesn't like you.
4th- If you like his mom (even if it's just a little bit), be sure & tell him that you do like her.
5th- Tell him that you're not trying to make his mom look bad... it's just that you do want her to like you.

Unless your boyfriend is a complete idiot, he should already know. Mom's never hold back their opinions, so she's probably told him in some way. For some advice in the future....(from experience) "kill her with kindness" (don't give her any more reasons to hate you)

Just tell him and give him the reasons why you believe that. It is important that you clear up any misunderstandings. Mother-n-law problems can grow to gargantuan proportions if not nipped in the bud earlier and especially if the son isn't aware of them or doesn't step up to the gf's defense.

I have this same problem...I don't know why because I have never done anything to my boyfriend's sisters, sister-in-law, brother, or his parents...but for some reason I never feel comfortable in their house nor do I feel as if they like me. I know that my boyfriend has to know that this is going on, but all he says is that they never say anything bad about me or anything like that. But this is just something you feel in your gut...and I personally think that my guy knows this is going on, but guys don't really know how to deal with situations like this. I guess he just prefers to ignore it and pretend like nothing is happening. It hurts a little, but if you never did anything to them...well then this is really their problem.

You simply tell him...
I know a couple which got married in the end. They have the same problem as you. His mother- in- law hate him and his wife knows that but its ok. But stil they love each other the same.
Don't panic you chose him not his mother.....Important is that he understands that to.
It shouldn't be so important ....
Just tell him, I don't know, someday when you sit in bed or on a coach just the two of you

Next time his mom says, "F@ck you", turn to him and say, "Honey, I don't think your mom likes me".

Seriously- Ask him how he thinks his mom feels about you. He may already know that his mom doesn't like you. She's probably told him behind your back!

i wouldn't tell him that. if you think his mom doesn't like you, you could be right. you could be wrong though. her baby's got another woman in his life and she might just be jealous so try not to get too offended. let her get to know you better and maybe she'll warm up. best of luck
=)
