I want to know how many cubic feet of wood shaving would be in a one ton dump truck bed.

Wood shavings have a density of about 10 lbs / cu. ft.
So 1 ton (2000 lbs) would be 200 cu. ft. That would fill a 4 x 8 truck bed up about 6 feet high.

Cubic feet and cubic ton are measurements of weight and mass unless someone knows what item is being measured they can't answer..
Added
Ok wood shavings what type of wood balsa wood for example weighs far less than oak.. so the measurement in feet would be much larger for balsa than oak...
You best bet is to call a local lumber yard explain exactly what type of wood shaving you are looking into and they will have a conversion chart so they can tell you how many cubic feet or yards that type of wood is per ton...

If it is of water a cubic foot weighs 62.43 lbs. Therefore, 32.03 cubic feet will give you a ton of water.
Just divide one ton (2000 lbs) by the weight of a cubic feet of whatever you want to find to get your answer.
