Having lived in southwest Houston for many+ years, staghorn ferns are not hard to find....your best bet is to get on the telephone and call.....any place that carries bromeliads will have them for sure....I know of one big place, but it is out off of 59 South....good luck....I love staghorns placed on those big pieces of driftwood.

Your best bet on this is to contact your local nursery, dont go to Home Depot or Lowes or any major garden center as this is more of a specialized thing to find.

I went to local.yahoo.com and did a search for you area, and found these results.

But take it from me, finding a staghorn fern is more of a specialty item that you would find at a nursery.

I would suggest buying them on-line and having them shipped. It is much easier to find more exotic plants on-line than in your local garden center.
