I was just discussing this with my dad last night...it seems like ever since 9/11 everything has been in such upheaval everywhere around the world. Too much death and destruction taking place. I miss the days when life seemed carefree, you could travel around the world and not get practically violated at some security checkpoint before you board a plane, etc. I don't think things will ever be the same again. :(

Right now I am home from work sick. Normally that would not stop me however my voice is pretty much gone so without it I cannot work. So for me it is not the best of times, yet it could always be worse.
