Ipod Nano? Why can't I use my regular headphones with it?

I hate the ear buds it comes with, they're always falling out (my ears are small) Is there a compatible set of headphones (the kind that go OVER your ear) that will work with the Nano?

So long as they have the right connector, are the same "ohms", and don't draw to much power, any headphones should work. (Drawing to much power could cause short battery run time and/or burn up the amplifier in the Ipod.)
