I am having a halloween Party. Mostly adults. What will be good food ideas that is not stupid. I got some ideas but I need more.
Cheap decor would help out a lot too.

Get 2 boxes of spice cake mix. Bake each box separately in a bundt cake pan. after the cakes cool place one upside down on top of the other. It looks like a pumpkin.

Then use white frosting and microwave til slightly thick and slightly runny and pour around top of cake and you can use marzipan to make a stem and leaf. very simple and quick dessert idea.

I just found a great recipe that I'm using for the office party next week: Witches' Broomsticks. Basically they're breadsticks that are formed to look like a broomstick with Italian seasoning in the dough and after they're done, they're brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

Put dry ice in your punch bowl. The fog will be creepy, but fun.

Also, you can decorate with these fun spider webs that are like cotton and you stretch them out. Very cheap at Wal-mart or Walgreens.

Veggie Dip in bread bowl - cut insides into bite size pieces for dipping. pumpenickel works best and you can use food coloring to make the dip green or red.

One of my favorites......take nutter butter cookies and dip them in white chocolate candy coating....lay them out on wax paper......put two chocolate chips on them for eyes (while they are still wet) and then let them set on the counter until dry...hope this helps!
