I would like to know if they are expensive to run and if anything goes wrong are they expensive to repair..?

A friend of mine has an A160 T reg and he's never had any big problems yet. Most German cars have a very good built quality.If you don't want to get ripped off for services don't take it back to the dealer.

I rented a A180 diesel last month. Got 5.5L/100Km, outstanding!!
I didn't think it was very comfy tho!
