I wish I would've taken a "baby moon" (kinda like honey moon, but before the baby arrives) with my husband. I also wish that I would've cuddled more with my husband--because everytime we want to cuddle...we have this little baby who wants to cuddle with us! It's very cute and we love cuddling with our baby, but it's different.
I also wish I would've enjoyed my pregnancy more. It was difficult with the nausea, throwing up, insomnia, etc... Ideally, I wish I would've taken some professional pictures of me and my belly.
Enjoy the time you have before the baby!

I do not have a child but I would want a Baby Shower all over the place at school church and any social club I was in with my family and co workers. Then not so much on them giving my gifts I would want to get a room painted an crib up and changing tables and just look at all the childrens educational toys sounds and shows to start early in sounds of music and language before the kid comes into the world. My sister wanted to smell great and have painted toes in delivery to be a pretty Mommy when she first say Hi. The father must stay in the waiting room if possible passing cigars to his buddies. Baby delivery is womans work but some feel If he can stand the pain screaming and blood OK for him to feel closer to baby by being there but I hear one man did not want to touch his woman for fear of hurting her or shock of things she said to him durring delivery. Like cobwebs he wont touch her... So I would give thought about all the family looking up my skirt...So to speak... I thought of the birthing chair birth into a salt water so the baby would not have a fear of water. All the fun stuff of Maternity in the baby books and diary pictures of each trimester and lots of pictures and soothing music or classic TV shows to tell the baby about to keep him or her calm when he or she comes into the big bad world. God Bless an Good Luck Congrats and just a thought from a girl who may wear rose color glasses and wish I could afford all this.
It is like being a elephant in the zoo behind bars and not free by the jungle and the waterfall to do all this the part that hurts me is waiting for a great man to share it all with...or to feel safe.
Just a story to keep you going.....Best Wishes

Rest. I was so anxious for the baby to get here that i spent my days trying to induce my labor and I spent my night wide awake and frusterated that I hadn;t gone into labor yet.
I didn't realize how much sleep i'd miss out on once she arrived. My daughter is now four months and I still haven't gotten a full nights sleep. She's a good sleepeer but night after night of waking up with her will take a tole on you. So, in answer to the question, I wish I had rested, gone on a romantic date with JUST me and my husband ( now we have to either find a babysitter or haul a big baby seat around with us if we go out to eat) and go see a movie together. And last but not least, explain to your husband that you are not going to " be yourself" for several weeks after delivery and hope to God he has compassion on you...lol
Good luck and congratualtions!

I wish I had not been having an affair while my wife was pregnant. My son's 2 years old now and until this day, I still regret not being with my wife during those nine months. What I missed, I will never ever get to experience again.
Men, if your having an affair and your wife's pregnant, your gonna have some guilt sitting on your shoulder for the rest of your life. It's gonna slap you on the face each time your kid looks at you.

Made sure to get lots of sleep. People were always coming over to see the baby. So I guess I wish I would have cleaned the house a little better. Also, make sure you have lots of film or disposable cameras for pics. Be sure to pack one to the hospital too!

I wish I had realized what a good body I had. Now, 2 kids later, I am struggling with a few sags, a few stretch marks. I was always very conservative with my clothing. Now, I want to dress a little more sexy, but unfortunately, to do that I have to wear, well, I guess I'll say it, girdles and the like. Yuck. I can still wear certain types of outfits, but I have to selective.

Moved into our new place, We did that after our son was born . (like 2 weeks later). As far as something before I was ever pregnant, I wish I would have toured the world.

Get one of those multi use playpens instead of a crib.
But get a narrow one so they slide thru hallway doors and you don't have to take down and put up.
I have three kids and not one would sleep in a crib...they would always sleep in the travel playpens though..so forget the crib...get two or three playpens around the house.
